Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Announce Tour


Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers announced their summer tour yesterday.  The six week tour will see the band making stops at three festivals and taking up residencies in two cities.  

The tour will see the band spending 5 nights at New York's Beacon Theatre. They'll hold court at the intimate venue on May 20, 21, 23, 25 and 26Tickets go on sale March 25.

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers' 2013 Summer Tour comes as the band takes a break from the studio where they are recording their highly anticipated follow up to 2010's Mojo. The as-yet-untitled new record will be released on Reprise Records in 2014.

Members of The Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Highway Companions Club will have special opportunities to purchase tickets to concerts on the upcoming tour. Club members will have access to exclusive ticket lotteries for the New York and Los Angeles shows and exclusive presales for the shows in other cities.

Tom Petty Releases More Videos From The Upcoming Album Mojo


Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are releasing their upcoming album Mojo on June 15. To whet your appetite, they've been releasing videos. Over the last couple of weeks, videos for "Jefferson Jericho Blues" and "Something Good Coming" have been unveiled. You can check both out below.

I've been enjoying what I've been hearing from Mojo. I'm foreseeing it becoming a part of my ever growing music collection.

New Video From Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers


Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have released a video for "I Should Have Known It," the first single from their upcoming record. The album, Mojo, is their first studio record in eight years is scheduled to be released June 15 on Reprise Records.

New York, you know we're getting a visit from the band. They'll be at Madison Square Garden on July 28. If that's not enough for your rockin' hearts, Buddy Guy will be there as their support act. Get your tickets HERE while you can. To get you ready for all of this, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will be on MojoSaturday Night Live this Saturday, May 15. Check out the video below. I'm really digging this song by the way.

Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers Announce Tour & New Album


Legendary rockers Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers announced th
eir 2010 North American tour and the upcoming release of their new record today. Mojo, their first studio record in eight years, is scheduled to be released this spring on Reprise Records. The Live Nation produced North American tour, which begins May 6 in Raleigh, NC, will take the band across the US and Canada. Tickets go on sale Monday, March 8 at LiveNation.com.

The tour will bring Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers to New York. They'll take the stage at Madison Square Garden on July 28. Supporting artists for the NY show haven't been announced yet while other dates will include a mix of appearances by My Morning Jacket, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Joe Cocker, ZZ Top, and Drive-By Truckers.

All 2010 Tour tickets purchased online will include an MP3 download of every track on the Heartbreakers' electrifying new album, Mojo. It will work like this; once fans purchase tickets online they will receive an email with codes entitling them to download two tracks from Mojo ("First Flash Of Freedom" and "Good Enough.") Then, on the release date of the album, currently slated for this spring, ticket buyers will be sent a download of the entire album. Also included with every online ticket purchase, to be delivered at the end of the 2010 tour, will be a selection of live tracks recorded during the tour.

Mojo is a fiery statement from a band that is making some of their most exciting music over three decades into their career. "Good Enough" from the new album is now available for streaming at the revamped TOMPETTY.com. More details on the new album to follow soon.
