BBC America Releases First Four Minutes of Orphan Black Season Premiere

BBC America released an exclusive look at the first four minutes of the season premiere of Orphan Black. Series 4 kicks off Thursday, April 14 at 10 PM ET. Check out the opening scene below.

A new Orphan Black after-show, After the Black, will air following the season premiere on April 14th at 11/10c, with guests Tatiana Maslany and Kevin Hanchard.

In a season where the sisters will have to go back to the beginning, fans will find the clones, and those who love them, as clueless about their fate as we first met them in season one. They now know what they are, who created them, and who was trying to destroy them; but what if everything they thought they knew, was a misdirect? What if they were sent down the wrong rabbit hole? What if they missed a crucial chapter of the mystery? When Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) returns home from her Icelandic hideout to track down an elusive new clone tied to Beth (Maslany), she and her sisters will band together to uncover the truth, no matter who they have to hurt in the process.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story - Official Trailer

The trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was released today. The film opens December 16, 2016. Check out the trailer below.

Lucasfilm's Rogue One, which takes place before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, tells the story of unlikely heroes who have united to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star.

The cast includes Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, and Riz Ahmed. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and produced by Kathleen Kennedy.

Jake Gyllenhaal stars in this Jean-Marc Vallée directed drama/comedy about a man who struggles with the loss of his wife. When your foundation gets knocked loose, sometimes you have to knock it all down to figure it out and put it back together.

The Plot

Davis (Jake Gyllenhaal), a successful investment banker, struggles after losing his wife in a tragic car crash. Despite pressure from his father in law Phil (Chris Cooper) to pull it together, Davis continues to unravel. What starts as a complaint letter to a vending machine company turns into a series of letters revealing startling personal admissions. Davis’ letters catch the attention of customer service rep Karen (Naomi Watts) and, amidst emotional and financial burdens of her own, the two form an unlikely connection. With the help of Karen and her son Chris (Judah Lewis), Davis starts to rebuild, beginning with the demolition of the life he once knew.

The Low Anthem To Release New Album, 6/17

EYELAND proves a prism of the album's inner themes, refracting Miller and co-founding drummer/multi-instrumentalist Jeff Prystowsky's sonic escapades into a full-blown Möbius strip of music and meaning. Television: Cast Announced For Doctor Who Spin-Off, "Class"

Stars of BBC America's Doctor Who spin-off, Class, have been announced. Greg Austin, Fady Elsayed, Sophie Hopkins and Vivian Oparah will portray students at Coal Hill School. Fans of Doctor Who are well familiar with Coal Hill as it's the school Susan Forman, the Doctor's granddaughter, attended and where companions Ian Chesterton, Barbara Wright and most recently Clara Oswald taught. Joining the series as well, will be Katherine Kelly, who has been cast as a teacher.

Filming for the series started this week.

These four Coal Hill School students have hidden secrets and desires. They are facing their own worst fears, navigating a life of friends, parents, school work, sex, sorrow – and possibly the end of existence.

Class is a YA series set in contemporary London. It is scary, funny, and as painful and sharp as youth. It will also shine a light on a whole new corner of the Whoniverse.

From Writer Patrick Ness, Director Ed Bazalgette (Poldark, Doctor Who), Producer Derek Ritchie, and Executive Producers Patrick Ness, Steven Moffat and Brian Minchin, the BBC Cymru Wales production, co-produced with BBC AMERICA and BBC Worldwide, starts filming today. The series will air on BBC Three in the UK.

Cyndi Lauper To Release New Album, May 6 + Video and Tour Dates

Cyndi Lauper is set to release her new record Detour on May 6 via Sire Records. The album features her covering country classics from the 40's, 50's and 60's. Check out the video for the first single, "Funnel of Love" a cover of the Wanda Jackson classic below.

DETOUR features guest appearances from country music stars Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, and Willie Nelson. Lauper recorded the album in Nashville alongside a band comprised of the city’s top session players.

Growing up, Lauper recalls listening to country music on her Aunt Gracie’s kitchen radio. “When I was a really young kid, country music was pop music, so this is what we grew up listening to. These songs are part of some of my earliest memories so it has been an absolute thrill to revisit them.”
