International Jazz Day Photo Review: Danilo Perez Performance & Master Class

This past Thursday, April 30, was International Jazz Day.  Newport Festivals Foundation and Salve Regina University presented a free performance for local elementary students and a master class for high school student jazz combos with pianist Danilo Perez & The Berklee Global Jazz Institute at the Casino Theatre in Newport, RI.  This is what it looked like.

Today, we dropped in on Elaine Romanelli who just released her new album, The Hour Before, this week.  She'll be celebrating its release with a show at Rockwood Music Hall Stage 3 this Saturday, April 25 at 7PM. It'll cost you $10 (full details at the end of our visit).
