After fifteen seasons, FOX's reality singing competition, American Idol, will say goodbye in a two night finale.

I have been an on and off viewer of American Idol missing some seasons in their entirety. But, I watched this season…I might as well see how it all ends. For the record, I'm rooting for La'Porsha…sorry Trent and Dalton. It would be fitting to end as it began with a big voiced woman.

American Idol will air Wednesday, April 6 and Thursday, April 7 at 8 PM ET on FOX.

Upcoming: Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors at The Bowery Ballroom, 4/7

Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors will be taking the stage at The Bowery Ballroom on April 7.  See below for more details.

Cast: Alex Karpovsky, Wyatt Russell, Meredith Hagner, Michael Ian Black, Hannah Simone, Heather Morris, Melanie Lynskey, David Cross

About The Film

Recently dumped by his fiancée and with a stagnating standup routine, aspiring comedian-slash-copywriter Paul (Alex Karpovsky, Girls) is stuck. The manager of the club where he performs suggests he take some time off to update his comedy material, and in waltzes his childhood friend Jason Black (Wyatt Russell), an acclaimed folk-rock musician about to embark on a solo acoustic tour of the east coast. Jason suggests Paul needs to get his mojo back—and he should start by opening for Jason on tour. They set off on the road together, picking up a new act (folk singer Bryn, played by Meredith Hagner) on the way. But when Jason reveals an ulterior motive behind the tour, rifts are exposed in their otherwise affable camaraderie. Folk Hero & Funny Guy is a music-infused spin on the road-trip buddy comedy. Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros Release Video + Tour Dates

Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros recently released a video for their track "No Love Like Yours". Check out the Olivia Wilde directed clip below.

Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros are releasing their new album, PersonA, April 15.

They're doing a slew of shows.  Sorry New York, their show at St. Ann and The Holy Trinity Church is sold out!
A good deal of the songs on PersonA were written by all ten band members collectively. Writing would often begin with a member playing his instrument not even knowing where the song would go with principal songwriter and singer Alex Ebert encouraging and directing the song's shape yielding wonderfully unique ends. It's little wonder that Rolling Stone wrote that PersonA is the band's "most risk-taking, freewheeling album yet."
